According to the head of the Burn Center Guga Kashibadze, during the New Year, from December 31 through January 3, New Year fireworks have injured thirty people in Georgia.
“Among them, eight and nine-year-olds have been hospitalized due to serious injuries. They have received burns on the wrists and faces. Their condition is stable now.
Once again, I want to obediently warn the population to avoid pyrotechnics. I think it should be even banned in the country. The use of pyrotechnics is prohibited by law in many countries, for example, in England," - Guga Kashibadze stated.
