Within the framework of the project of the capital city hall - "Tbilisi - UNESCO city of media art", from July 15 to 29, the new media art and multifaceted music festival TKESHI will be held in the Kojori Forest.
New media art and contemporary electro-acoustic music are often presented in closed spaces, and the goal of the TKESHI - New Media Art festival is to bring modern culture into nature and seek inspiration where human history begins.
From July 15, the festival program will host dozens of local and international artists. The main idea of the festival is to share a rich and diverse audio and visual experience with a wide audience in the open air, in connection with nature. Audio and visual performances, new media art installations and a diverse educational program will fill the forest space with new energies and magical impressions.
July 15, 22, and 28 are special days determined for the festival program, when from 15:00 visitors will have the opportunity to attend audio and video installations and performances of such international artists as: Berlin-based Japanese artist Ryoichi Kurokawa, German electronic music artist Amelie Duchow, as well as a collaborative project of international artists WHITE BALANCE and others.
