A new airline at the Tbilisi International Airport - Southwind Airlines - made its first charter flight from Tbilisi to Antalya yesterday.
Southwind Airlines will operate charter flights to Antalya with one frequency per week, every week until September 25, by an Airbus 321 aircraft.
At present, Pegasus airline carries out regular flights to Antalya with 5 frequencies per week, and in September - 6 flights per week.
TAV Georgia is a subsidiary of TAV Airports Holding. Its activity in Georgia began in 2005 and will continue until 2027 under the current contract.
As a result of implementing the investment worth of 220 million USD in Georgia, new passenger terminals of the Tbilisi and Batumi international airports were put into operation in 2007. After the investment made in 2016-17, the existing runway and the construction of a new departure terminal were fully rehabilitated at the Tbilisi International Airport.
