Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, Natia Turnava, called the Georgian delegation’s visit to the U.S. for the IMF and World Bank annual meetings “very productive.” She highlighted a packed agenda of high-level discussions focused on ongoing and future cooperation.

Turnava noted that Georgia expects upcoming IMF missions, including an Article IV review, which previously gave the country high marks for economic growth and policy effectiveness. She also confirmed that Georgia requested expanded technical support from the IMF, which was positively received.
