
“The Acting President of the National Bank of Georgia, Natia Turnava, will participate in the annual meetings organized by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Marrakesh,” - the National Bank of Georgia reports.
Within the framework of the working visit, Natia Turnava will hold meetings with the IMF Deputy Managing Director Bo Li, the IMF Executive Director Paul Hilbers and the Middle East and Central Asia Department Director Jihad Azour.
Meetings are planned with the representatives of the Federal Reserve Bank, the management of the Clearstream's Central Securities Depositories, the management of rating and investment companies, and the representatives of international payment systems - Visa and Mastercard.
The Acting President of the National Bank will take part in the investors' conference held by the "Bank of America", a high-level round table discussion organized by the IMF and in a meeting organized for the Central Bank Governors and Finance Ministers of the Caucasus and Central Asia region.
The managers of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, as well as representatives of the economic team from more than 200 countries of the world take part in the annual meetings of October 11-14.
