A multinational command-staff exercise, NATO-Georgia Exercise 2025, led by Georgian forces, is currently taking place at the Joint Training and Evaluation Center (JTEC).
Today, senior officials attended a demonstration day at JTEC’s simulation, communications, and information systems center, where they received comprehensive briefings and toured various training sites.
The exercise integrates six key initiatives from the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP): the Joint Training and Evaluation Center, military engineering, military police, military medical capability development, special operations forces, and standardization and codification.
NATO experts are actively evaluating units from the Georgian Defence Forces throughout the exercise.
Based on a simulated crisis scenario, Georgian troops are collaborating with personnel from 17 NATO member and partner countries on crisis response planning, management, and operational control.
According to the Georgian Defence Ministry, the exercise marks a significant milestone in Georgia’s ongoing defense cooperation with NATO, strengthening interoperability and enhancing collective defense capabilities.
