Davit Tkemaladze, the Deputy Chairman of the National Wine Agency of Georgia, discussed the issue of selling the Georgian wine in the Danish retail outlets at a meeting with Thomas Trust, Senior Category Manager of the Wine and Spirits Association of Denmark's largest retailers. At the meeting held in the city of Aarhus, the parties discussed the action plan to promote the sale of the Georgian wine in the Danish online stores. The Manager of Salling Group focused on the specifics of the company's work, wine and spirits sales and range.
"In Denmark, the French and Italian wines occupy the leading positions in the wine market, but the Danish consumers are constantly looking for the new ones. This circumstance creates a certain opportunity in terms of bringing large quantities of the Georgian wine to the Danish network market, if, of course, we provide an active information campaign on the unique method of making the Georgian wine and Georgian culture," - said Thomas Trust.
Davit Tkemaladze, the Deputy Chairman of the National Wine Agency of Georgia, noted at the meeting that in order to facilitate positioning in the Danish market, it is important that the Danish consumers are well acquainted with Georgia and its wine culture. To achieve this goal, the parties discussed the issue of organizing an introductory tour for the Georgian representatives in Georgia and the presentation/tasting of the Georgian wine in Denmark.

The chain of stores Bilka, Netto, Fotex are united under the umbrella of Salling Group.The company is also represented outside Denmark, including Germany and Poland.
