
“On May 17-20, the National Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia will host the representatives of ITB Berlin, one of the largest tourism exhibitions worldwide in Tbilisi and the regions. “ITB Berlin will hold its debut meeting in Georgia. The first B2B network event will take place in Tbilisi and other cities of the country. Within the framework of the event, the representatives of the German business and media will meet with the Georgian tourism sector, including business tourism officials.
During the visit, the National Tourism Administration will hold a presentation on various tourism destinations, nature, cultural tourism and eco-tourism products for ITB Berlin executives. The tour representatives will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the Georgian cuisine and taste wine.
In 2023, Georgia will be presented as a host country in Germany at the ITB Berlin International Tourism Exhibition. This year, Georgia, as a cultural partner, participated in one of the largest exhibitions in the world, ITB Berlin.
ITB Berlin has been the world's leading travel trade fair since 1966. Prior to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, more than 10,000 companies from 181 countries were represented at the exhibition per year. The International Tourism Fair was attended by more than 160,000 visitors, including 113,500 business visitors.
