
This year, the National Tourism Administration of Georgia hosted the world’s influential media outlets.
The National Tourism Administration of Georgia held 54 press tours for highly rated international media representatives, bloggers and influencers and hosted 482 people.
At the invitation of the National Tourism Administration, the representatives of National Geographic, Conde Nast Traveler, The Financial Times, Independent, Steller and other influential media outlets and platforms got acquainted with the tourism potential of Georgia. As a result of the tours, hundreds of posts, articles, stories and video clips about the tourist destination of Georgia were prepared, which were introduced to millions of people all over the world.
In parallel with the press tours, the National Tourism Administration hosted international tourism companies from the target tourism markets, as well as planned and implemented activities in cooperation with airlines. As a result of 8 familiarization tours, 58 tour operators got acquainted with the tourist destinations, resorts and infrastructure of Georgia. Within the scope of the tour, foreign tour operators met their Georgian counterparts for the purpose of cooperation.
