The National Statistics Office of Georgia presented the 2022 report. The executive director summarized last year's activities and talked about the current year's plans. Last year's economic data were also summarized at the briefing. It was explained that the economic growth was caused by the growth of direct foreign investments and exports.
"The year 2022 started with a fairly high rate of economic growth, several sectors made a significant positive contribution to the economic growth of 11 months. These sectors were: transport and warehousing, information and communication, energy, construction sector, hotels and restaurants", - the Executive director of the National Statistics Office of Georgia, Gogita Todradze, said.
