
On March 26, 2025, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) began selling commemorative coins to honor the national team’s qualification for UEFA Euro 2024.
The NBG is offering gold and silver collector’s coins, each with a nominal value of 5 Georgian Lari. The gold coin has an edition of 1,500, and the silver coin has an edition of 10,000. The coins celebrate the team’s historic achievement and participation in the upcoming European Championship.
The design of the coins was created by the Georgian Football Federation in collaboration with the NBG, with designs by Bacho Lagvilava. The coins were manufactured by the Lithuanian Mint.
The price of the silver coin is GEL 130, and the gold coin is priced at GEL 2,200.
Coin Sales Information:

Silver Coins: Available from 10:00 a.m. on March 26, 2025, through the electronic platform tkt.ge (March 26-27) and at the Cash Center and Kvareli Money Museum cashiers.

Gold Coins: Available from 10:00 a.m. on March 28, 2025, through tkt.ge for one day only, until the end of the day, and at the Cash Center and Kvareli Money Museum cashiers.
Starting March 31, 2025, coin sales will continue at the Cash Center, Kvareli Money Museum, and the Money Museum’s online store, subject to availability.
To ensure accessibility, each user can purchase a maximum of one silver coin and one gold coin. This limit applies across all sales channels.

Delivery: GEL 7 for Tbilisi, GEL 20 for regions.

Insurance: 0.4% of the coin’s sales price.

Website Service Commission: GEL 10 for silver coins, GEL 82 for gold coins.
Refund Policy: If a user purchases more than one coin on tkt.ge, all additional orders will be canceled, and the user will be refunded the direct cost of the coin, transportation, and insurance. The service commission is non-refundable.

Coin Design Details:

Obverse: Features the national team logo, a knight image derived from the logo, and the slogan “I Am Georgia,” representing the country, its footballers, and supporters.

Reverse: Displays the team’s new jersey design, reflecting the brand’s philosophy and marking the event with inscriptions in Georgian and English.
To purchase coins at the cashiers, users must present a personal identification document.
