
During the first nine months of 2025, motor cars continued to dominate Georgia’s foreign trade, ranking first among both export and import items, according to the latest data.
Exports of motor cars totaled USD 2,003.9 million, accounting for 38.9% of Georgia’s total exports. Precious metal ores and concentrates ranked second with USD 276.2 million (5.4% of total exports), followed by spirituous beverages, which reached USD 200.7 million (3.9% of total exports).
Motor cars also topped the list of import commodities between January and September 2025, with imports valued at USD 2,805.1 million, representing 20.9% of total imports. Petroleum and petroleum oils were the second-largest import category, totaling USD 972.2 million (7.3%), while packaged medicines ranked third with USD 510.7 million (3.8%).
