
More than 20% of medicines imported into Georgia are re-exported. According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in January-July 2022, packaged medicinal products worth of $234,207 million were imported into Georgia, out of which $47,597 million were re-exported.
As for the countries, this year Georgia "resold" drugs to 26 countries of the world, including the largest amount to Uzbekistan - worth of $28,790 million.
The list of the Top-10 countries, where medicinal products were re-exported from Georgia, is as follows:

Azerbaijan - $10.103 million
Armenia - $2.286 million
Kyrgyzstan - $1.571 million
Russia - $1,512 million
Moldova - $960.3 thousand
Libya - $346.5 thousand
Tajikistan - $296.6 thousand
Iran - $227.3 thousand
