“Georgia’s Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili met with the Managing Director of Moody's Investors Service, Marie Diron,” - the Ministry of Finance of Georgia reports.
Reportedly, the Minister of Finance informed her about the current economic trends, as well as fiscal policy issues planned for 2023 and in the medium term.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Finance Ministers of Georgia Ekaterine Guntsadze and Mirza Gelashvili, as well as the Vice President of the National Bank of Georgia Archil Mestvirishvili.
Currently, the rating agency Moody's has assessed Georgia's sovereign credit rating at Ba2 level with a stable outlook.
Additionally, a meeting was held with the rating agency Fitch officials. Currently, the Fitch rating agency has confirmed the sovereign credit rating of Georgia at BB level.
