Milk and egg production in Georgia increased, while meat production decreased

According to the preliminary data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat), milk production in the II quarter of 2022 amounted to 200.0 million liters, which is 1.0% more than the same figure of the previous year.
Meat production amounted to 17.7 thousand tons, which is 0.6% less than the figure recorded in the corresponding period of 2021.
During the reporting period, 167.7 million eggs were produced, which is 2.3% higher than the previous year.
