Georgian UFC super lightweight champion Merab Dvalishvili has expressed his enthusiasm for participating in a historic UFC event planned to take place at the White House in 2026.
“I want to participate in the event that will be held at the White House next year,” Dvalishvili told Media Scrum. “Even if my fight is the first on the card, I’ll be happy — especially knowing that Ilia Topuria, Conor McGregor, and Jon Jones are also looking to compete there.”
The unique event, proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, is scheduled for July 4, 2026, as part of the 250th anniversary celebration of American independence. The concept aims to blend sport and patriotism in an unprecedented setting.
UFC President Dana White has confirmed the event is moving forward, calling it one of the most spectacular showcases the organization has ever planned.
