
“The training conducted in Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli regions of Georgia included getting acquainted with various technologies of raw milk processing and cheese making,” - the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency reports.
According to the Agency, the French cheese making master class was conducted by the representatives of more than 20 cooperative enterprises working in different regions of Georgia, created with the financial support of the government of Georgia.
The project " Finance & Extension & Cooperative Development Project for Georgian Farmers" (FinExCoop Georgia) is funded by the European Union under the EU (NIF) program. The project is managed and coordinated by the French Development Agency (AFD). The four-year project aims to improve access to agricultural finance for small-scale commercial farms and cooperatives in Georgia.
