The summit held in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, brought representatives of the leading McDonald's restaurants together from the countries such as America, Canada, China and 22 different European countries. The main topic of the summit was to discuss the strategy of "McDonald's" on a global scale, find ways to solve the current challenges and further plans.

As part of the summit, at the request of the international McDonald's, McDonald's Georgia briefed the operators of several dozen European countries on the best experience in their own examples of successfully implementing and improving the standards, as well as effectively dealing with challenges, and talked in detail about all the steps that the company had been taking in the direction of effective operation over the years.

It should be noted that at the beginning of this year, McDonald's Georgia became the winner of the 2022 Golden Arch award named after Fred Turner and was named the best partner of McDonald's in the European division.

McDonald's Georgia has been operating since 1999 and has 19 restaurants across the country and employs more than 1,500 people. From the first day of opening, more than 7,000 people got work experience at McDonald's Georgia.

Recently, McDonald's Georgia opened another restaurant in Tbilisi, which is the 20th one in succession across the country. The large-scale, ceremonial opening of the restaurant located near Isani Mall in Tbilisi will be held in the next few days.

More than 60 people are employed in the new McDonald's Georgia restaurant. In this investment project, the company invested GEL 6.7 million.
