"McDonald's Georgia" gains another international recognition

McDonald's Georgia has been setting new standards in the service and business sector in Georgia for 22 years. Thanks to a healthy work environment and people-centered approaches, it has consistently received prestigious global awards and recognition, such as Fred L. Turner Golden Arch Award for enhancing work standards, the Ray Kroc Award for Managers - this is part of the recent international success that McDonald's has achieved in Georgia.

“It is noteworthy that this prestigious award was given to only 1% of the worldwide franchises. That is why we appreciate the contribution you make to the development of our system,” reads the congratulatory letter sent by McDonald’s President Ian Borden to McDonald’s Georgia leaders. “This contribution, in turn, implies your active role in business and also your enthusiasm for the development of the McDonald’s brand, which will bring beneficial changes not only for consumers, but also for the whole community in which our brand operates.”

The letter also states that McDonald’s appreciates Georgia’s franchise growth-oriented and leadership-oriented approaches, and recognizes its commitment to operational excellence and outstanding service.

McDonald’s currently employs more than 1300 people. In 2022, it plans to open 3 new restaurants, which will employ more than 150 people.
