One of the key priorities of Georgia’s economic policy is market diversification, said Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, commenting on the Prime Minister’s visit to China.
According to the Minister, Georgia is pursuing this strategy across all major sectors of the economy, including trade, tourism, transport, logistics, and other industries.
“China is one of the most important strategic partners for our country. It offers vast opportunities, is the world’s largest market, and represents a key target for all sectors of the Georgian economy,” Kvrivishvili said. “We are confident that with the government’s existing strategy and action plan, as well as the continually deepening relations between our two countries, we will see economic cooperation expand year after year.”
