Today is the Georgian Journalism Day.
It was established in 1993 by the Georgian Federation of Journalists and Tbilisi State University.
The Day of the Georgian Journalism was established as the day of the founding of the first Georgian newspaper. Initially, the newspaper was titled Georgia’s Newspaper, but later it was called Georgian Newspaper.
