Mamuka Mdinaradze Appointed Head of Georgia’s State Security Service

The Parliament of Georgia has approved Mamuka Mdinaradze as the new head of the State Security Service. His candidacy was supported by 85 MPs during today’s plenary session, with no votes against.
Following the vote, Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili congratulated Mdinaradze and praised his contributions during three parliamentary convocations.
“I am confident Mamuka Mdinaradze will be an outstanding leader of the State Security Service. He will play a key role in strengthening the country’s security, maintaining peace, and supporting Georgia’s development amid regional challenges,” Papuashvili stated.
Mdinaradze previously served as a Member of Parliament and Majority Leader, earning recognition for his legislative work and leadership.
