
With the participation of up to 2000 delegates from more than 60 countries, the fourth Tbilisi Silk Road Forum will continue. The main topic of the October 27 discussion will be policy-driven decisions.
Panel discussions and bilateral meetings will also be held on October 27. The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili will open the forum with a welcome speech.
Georgia as a gateway in the middle corridor between Europe and Asia - the main host of the forum, the prime minister, on the first day of the forum, emphasized the strategic location of Georgia.
At the opening ceremony of the event, Irakli Gharibashvili said that new projects of international importance, such as the Anaklia deep-water port, the Black Sea submarine cable, the modernization of the Middle Corridor railway and international airports, are among the priorities for the country.
Attention focused on Georgia's trade and economic relations with China. According to the Prime Minister, transparency and accountability are the cornerstones of Georgian governance. Therefore, the strong commitment of the government to these values is reflected in many prestigious ratings.
