In January 2024, the export earnings from the Georgian goods decreased to $338 million 600 000 (to 26.2%). Local export (export without re-export) is 46.7% of the total export.
The mentioned figure has decreased by 38.9% compared to the previous year and equaled $158.2 million. However, in parallel with the decline in trade with traditional markets, according to official statistics, local exports to Greece have increased sharply.
The list of the local products exported from Georgia to Greece in January 2024 is as follows:
Oil and oil products - $4.3 million;
Plywood glued, panels made of wood veneer and similar materials made of mixed wood - $417 thousand;
Raw tobacco; Tobacco waste - $63.9 thousand;
Natural grape wines - $32.7 thousand;
Fruit and vegetable juices - $29.3 thousand;
Pantyhose, high knee socks and other hosiery products - $8.1 thousand.
