Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated that the upcoming local government elections will take place in a competitive environment.
“There are several relatively large opposition parties taking part, along with smaller ones,” the Prime Minister told journalists.
Kobakhidze emphasized that the ruling party is focused solely on its own electoral campaign, with a clear goal in mind:
“We aim to win both mayoral and council elections in all 64 municipalities. You can already see the political spectrum and their positions. We are absolutely confident in our victory across all municipalities,” he said.
