
From June 2021 to May 2022, 5 new investment projects were implemented with a total cost of $ 4 million. The projects can create up to 1000 jobs. This is stated in the report prepared by the Georgian government.
According to the report, the Lithuanian company Girteka, the owner of the largest asset-based fleet in Europe, has chosen Georgia as the location of Global Business Services (GBS) and will create 300 jobs by the end of 2023. The company plans to be among the 10 largest logistics companies in Europe and Georgia is an important part of its expansion goals.
At the same time, the British IT company Godel Technologies decided to invest in Georgia. Godel Technologies was selected as the target company and contacted with the assistance of the Embassy of Georgia to the UK. The reason for the decision was Georgia’s attractive business climate, competitive environment and skilled workforce. As a result, about 250 new jobs will be created in Georgia over the next two years.
