Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia have imposed entry bans on Georgian officials, including MPs, judges, and representatives of Alt-Info. Latvia has banned 16 Georgian citizens indefinitely, while Lithuania has added 74 to its blacklist, citing involvement in human rights violations, repression, and abuse of power. Among those sanctioned are judges and officials connected to the wrongful detention of journalist Mzia Amaglobeli. Estonia has also barred 55 Georgian individuals, including prosecutors and police officers, for their role in prosecuting protesters and using violence against journalists and opposition leaders.
The three countries express strong support for the people of Georgia, who have protested against the ruling Georgian Dream party for over 100 days.
