The import volume of light vehicles into Georgia is decreasing. This is confirmed by the January-May 2024 data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT).
In particular, according to the GEOSTAT, the annual import of light vehicles into the country decreased by 23.4%. If in January-May 2023, cars worth 1,262,459,000 USD were imported into the country, this year this indicator amounted to 967,364,300 USD.
As for the quantitative indicator, 65,455 units of light vehicles were imported into the country in five months of 2024, and 82,841 units were imported in the same period last year.

The USA - $549,952,350, (46,226 units);
Germany - $139,257,520, (2,788 units);
Japan - $138,778,090, (9,975 units);
