At Film Festival Cotbuss, Koguashvili’s authentic portrayal of a sacrificing father in Brighton 4th, performed by Levan Tediashvilis has won the prize for Outstanding Individual Performance, closing the Feature Film Competition.

The Cottbus International Film Festival, considered one of the most important film events in Eastern Europe, took place on November 2-7.

The main part of Levan Koguashvili's film was shot in New York with the support of the Georgian National Film Center. The film is a co-production of Georgia, Bulgaria, the United States and Russia. One of the co-producers of "Brighton 4th" is the Georgian Public Broadcaster, and the co-financier is the Cartu Charitable Foundation.

On behalf of Georgia, the film "Brighton 4th" will fight for the nomination of the 2022 International Feature Film of the American Film Academy.
