
With the support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia and the organization of the agency's contractor company O-Lille in the Republic of Poland, a two-day Georgian wine festival was held in the territory of the famous historic palace (Dwór w Tomaszowicach) in Krakow. According to the National Wine Agency, about 20 Georgian wine companies, both large and medium and small producers, participated in the festival.
The event was attended by local importers, representatives of the HoReCa sector, wine consumers, journalists and bloggers, in total about 1000 guests. Events of this type contribute to raising awareness of the Georgian wine and diversifying export markets.
The festival took place in the background of the concert of the Georgian singers and dancers.
To be informed, Poland is one of the strategic export markets of the Georgian wine, where various marketing events are actively held during the year with the support of the National Wine Agency. As a result, Poland steadily gained a place in the top five exporting countries of Georgian wine. Based on the data of 6 months of the current year, 3.2 million liters of wine were exported from Georgia to Poland [increased by 19% compared to the same period last year.
