
Kutaisi International Airport has become a major contributor to Georgia’s economic and tourism development, according to Levan Moseshvili, General Director of the United Airports of Georgia.
Speaking on the airport’s 13th anniversary, Moseshvili highlighted the significant progress made since its opening and the positive impact it has had on the country’s aviation sector.
“The airport is marking this milestone together with its partner companies, offering passengers special deals and pleasant surprises throughout the week. This is a success story closely linked to the overall progress of Georgian aviation,” Moseshvili said.
Over the past 13 years, Kutaisi International Airport has undergone a full renovation, expanded sixfold, and served more than 8.8 million passengers.
Moseshvili emphasized that today, the airport is recognized as one of the fastest-growing airports in Europe, underscoring its vital role in boosting Georgia’s connectivity, economy, and tourism industry.
