A Japanese investment group is interested in getting involved in the Green City project. Tornike Rizhvadze, the chairman of the government of Adjara, held a meeting with the Japanese investment group. The investment group is interested in the Green City project and actively works with the project investors.
The chairman of the government of Adjara introduced the investment and tourism potential of the region to the guests. At the meeting, the business environment of the region, the increased tourist flows and the perspectives of cooperation were discussed.
As it is known, in 2019, the implementation of an investment project with an unprecedented value was announced in Adjara. In Kobuleti, a multifunctional "green city" should be built on an area of 180 hectares, for which half a billion GEL will be invested. According to the development plan of the project, 70% of the territory of the complex will be occupied by the recreational zone.
The project is implemented by the Green Resort company. The largest investment will ensure the transformation of Adjara into a four-season resort.
The "Green City" project includes a golf course, football fields, tennis courts, swimming pools, and recreational areas. A 250-room high-class hotel and one of the largest spa centers in Europe will also be built. The project also envisages a shopping center, parking for 500 cars and a helipad.
The hotel and wellness center will be managed by an international brand. Energy-efficient and environmentally friendly building materials will be used during the construction of "Green Resort". The area will be equipped with modern technologies such as electric vehicle charging stations and solar energy panels.
