The Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili expressed concern over attempts to delegitimize the democratic choice of the Georgian people, despite over 2 million voters participating in the parliamentary elections under the observation of numerous international and local monitors. She also criticized the pressure placed on international observation missions, which undermines their independence and threatens stability and democratic progress. 

During a press conference with Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, Botchorishvili reaffirmed Georgia’s commitment to its partnership with the European Union, emphasizing the need for mutual respect in these relations.
