Irakli Kobakhidze congratulated Garibashvili and thanked him for his three-year tenure as Prime Minister, acknowledging the success achieved during his leadership.

The eighth congress of the party took place at Hotel Paragraph Tbilisi.

In the upcoming session week, the Parliament will approve the new Prime Minister and the composition of the government.

Irakli Gharibashvili resigned from the Prime Minister’s post on January 29.
