
The international seasonal school-camp “Mountain Sustainable Development Education” opened in Algeti National Park, bringing together 30 students and young specialists from Georgia and abroad. The event was attended by Besik Amiranashvili, Chairman of the Agency for Protected Areas.
Organized by the Faculty of Mountain Sustainable Development of the Georgian Technical University and supported by international partners, the camp offers lectures, fieldwork, and training in drone technologies. Over five days, participants will explore global mountain sustainability goals and engage in practical research.
The initiative is funded by the CIF grant project and the SUSMAUN program, emphasizing youth development and international collaboration. The Agency for Protected Areas highlights youth involvement in environmental education as a key priority.
