The Chairman of Adjara AR Government Tornike Rizhvadze met with the representatives of the international hotel brand ROTANA, the company is starting to implement a $71 million investment project in Gonio.
Tornike Rizhvadze met with the leaders of the international hotel chain, Rotana. Tornike Rizhvadze introduced the investment potential and tourism opportunities of Adjara to the investment group. The investment group of the United Arab Emirates will implement a project in Georgia for the first time, the volume of which will be 71 million US dollars. The project envisages the construction of a 5-star, 546-room hotel complex in Gonio. The Rotana hotel chain currently operates 73 hotels in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Turkey, serving more than 6 million guests a year.
The meeting held in the government of Adjara was attended by Minister of Finance and Economy of Adjara Jaba Putkaradze and Head of Administration of the Government of Adjara Tina Zoidze.
