
‘Direct air traffic between the capitals of Georgia and India has launched. India's largest airline Indigo made its first flight on the Delhi-Tbilisi-Delhi route. 186 people left Tbilisi for Delhi,” - the public relations service of Tav Georgia reported.
"An official event was held at the Tbilisi International Airport, which was attended by the Director of the United Airports of Georgia Irakli Karkashadze, the Head of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia Maia Omiadze, representatives of the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency and the airline. Ambassador of India Nilakshi Saha Sinha also visited Tbilisi to attend the event.
The Indigo airline will operate regular flights between the capitals of Georgia and India three times a week.
Indigo is the largest airline in India, which operates 1,850 daily flights to 111 destinations with more than 300 aircraft, of which 79 are domestic and 32 are international.
