The Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia, Mikheil Dundua, evaluated the data of the prosperity index. According to him, Georgia's progress is expected in the coming years as well.
"Economic growth, the parameters that are fixed with us today, correspond well to the issues that are raised there. Therefore, in the following years, we expect Georgia's progress, both in the prosperity index and in such fundamental parameters that the IMF and the World Bank draw attention to," – Dundua said.
To be informed, Georgia has been ranked 53rd out of 167 countries on the 2023 Prosperity Index by the Legatum Institute, a London-based think-tank, with the cumulative ranking reflecting assessments of the country’s performance in a range of areas.
