In addition to the passenger flow, a significant increase (56%) is recorded in the number of flights performed from the Kutaisi International Airport in November. The airport served 417 flights in November (2022 268 flights).
As for the January-November 2023 data, the Kutaisi Davit Aghmashenebeli International Airport served a record number of passengers during this period. In the space of 11 months, the Kutaisi Davit Aghmashenebeli International Airport handled 1,514,280 passengers, which is 105% higher than the same period of 2022 (January-November 2022 665,732 passengers).
The number of flights made in 11 months is also historic. The airport served 4,504 flights in January-November, which is 55% more than in the same period of 2022 (January-November 2022 737,478 flights).
From December 16, 2023, the Kutaisi Davit Aghmashenebeli International Airport will have a fourth Wizz Air aircraft and a Copenhagen route. And from December 19, Pegasus Airlines will start operating at the airport and will perform flights on the Istanbul-Kutaisi-Istanbul routes 3 times a week.
At this stage, 5 airlines operate at the Kutaisi Davit Aghmashenebeli International Airport. Flights are made to 35 destinations in 18 countries.
