According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in November, the living wage of an able-bodied man increased by 0.2 GEL compared to the previous month and amounted to 252.3 GEL. Compared to November of last year, the living wage has decreased by 2.8 GEL this year.
According to the Geostat data, in November, the living wage of an average consumer increased by 0.1 GEL compared to the previous month and amounted to 223.4 GEL.
In general, the increase in the living wage is related to the inflation rate, when the mentioned index also decreases.
To be reminded, in November 2023, the annual inflation rate was 0.1%.
