
In June 2022, compared to the same period of the previous year, re-exports from Georgia to Russia increased by 101.5%. According to the data of the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), last month the re-export figure from Georgia to its northern neighbor amounted to 9,359 million dollars, while in June 2021, $ 4,644 million worth of products were re-exported to Russia.
