“The hotel price index in Georgia increased by 13.3% in July 2022 compared to June, including the price index of 3-, 4- and 5-star hotels rose by 12.7%, and the prices of family-type hotels - by 15.9%,” - the report of the PMC Research Center says.
According to the report, the monthly hotel price index was the highest in Samtskhe-Javakheti (30.1%) and Adjara (22%), and the lowest in Kakheti (1.6%).
As for the price index compared to July last year, an increase of 13% was reported, including the price index of 3-, 4- and 5-star hotels rose by 12.2%, and the prices of family-type hotels - by 20.2%.
According to the report of the PMC Research Center, in July 2022, the average price of 3-star hotels in Georgia was GEL 173, and the average price of 4-star hotels was GEL 276, while family-type hotels in July cost GEL 118.
