As the Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia reported, during the month of July, various airlines used the Georgian airspace 15,124 times, which is 42,80% more than the figures of July 2021, and 304.60% more than the data of the same period of 2020.

According to statistical data, in July 2021, 10,591 overflights were recorded in the Georgian airspace, while 3,738 overflights - in the same period of 2020. In the period prior to the pandemic (July 2019), different airlines used the Georgian airspace 11,416 times (single overflight).
