According to the preliminary estimate of the the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in July 2024, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the real GDP growth rate amounted to 13.0 percent, and the average rate for the first seven months of 2024 was set at 9.7 percent.

According to the GEOSTAT, in July 2024, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, such sectors as construction, processing industry, information and communication, professional, scientific and technical activities, trade made a significant contribution to the economic growth.

A downward trend was observed in the energy sector.
