The Statistical committee of Armenia has presented data indicating a significant growth in the trade turnover between Armenia and Georgia in January 2024 compared to the same period last year.

According to the report of the Statistical committee, the trade turnover amounted to 19.6 million dollars, which represents an increase of 23% compared to January 2023.

Armenia's exports to Georgia reached 13.4 million dollars for the reporting period, exceeding the previous year's figure by 48.7%. At the same time, imports from Georgia decreased to 6.1 million dollars, down by 10.8% compared to January of the previous year.
