Positive dynamics in air traffic has been observed at the Kutaisi International Airport. According to the Georgian Airports Union, in January 2022, compared to the same period in 2019, 70% of the passenger flow to the Kutaisi International Airport was restored. In January 2022, the Kutaisi International Airport served 39,049 passengers (55,895 passengers - in January 2019).

During the pandemic conditions, in addition to the passenger flow, the Kutaisi International Airport has seen a positive dynamic in terms of restoring the number of flights. In January, the airport resumed 87% of flights and operated 164 flights (188 flights in January 2019).

According to the Georgian Airports Union, at this stage, the Kutaisi International Airport operates 5 airlines in 24 destinations in 14 countries.
