According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in January-June 2023, the foreign trade turnover with goods in Georgia (without undeclared trade) amounted to 10,266.2 mln. USD, which is 20.1 percent higher than the corresponding indicator of the previous year.
From this, export value was 3 050.4 mln. USD (increased by 19.2%), and import value - 7 215.8 million. USD (increased by 20.4%).
The trade deficit in January-June 2023 amounted to 4 165.4 million USD, which is 40.6 percent of foreign trade turnover.
