The National Tourism Administration of Georgia has published statistical data for the month of July, according to which, 718,401 international travelers visited Georgia in July 2022, which represents an 177%-increase compared to the month of July 2021, and the recovery rate of international travelers is 65.3% compared to the data of 2019.
In July, the number of international tourist visits amounted to 459,711, which is 115% more compared to the same period last year, and compared to the data of July 2019, the rate of tourist visits has recovered by 80.6%.
In January-July 2022, 2,344,329 international travelers visited Georgia, the increase compared to the data of 7 months of 2021 is 214%, and the recovery rate compared to the same period of 2019 amounted to 47.2%.
In the 7 months of 2022, the number of international tourist visits amounted to 1,668,983, which is 162% more compared to the same period last year, and compared to the data of 2019, the rate of tourist visits has recovered by 61.9%.
