As the Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia reported, during January-July 2022, various airlines used the Georgian airspace 69,715 times, which is 45.56% more than the figures of January-July 2021, and 55.06% more than the data of the same period of 2020.

According to statistical data, in 7 months of 2019, 75,876 overflights were recorded in the airspace of Georgia, while in the same period of 2020 - 44,960 overflights. As for the indicators of January-July 2021, during the reporting period, the use of Georgian airspace (unit overflight) was recorded 47,893 times.
