
According to the data of the first two months of 2023, Azerbaijan became one of Georgia's top trading partners. In January-February, trade turnover between the countries amounted to $242 million 151 thousand. Thus, the neighboring country ranked fourth place among the largest trade partners with 8.4%.
According to official statistics, trade with Azerbaijan decreased by 2.7% compared to January-February last year.

The main export goods during this period were light vehicles, which were fully re-exported. These goods accounted for 55.8% of goods exported to Azerbaijan.
Georgia’s export goods include sugar-added mineral and sparkling waters, polymers of propylene or other olefins, live poultry, telephone equipment, poultry meat and food offal, fresh, chilled or frozen, auto graders, excavators, rammers and other goods.
Among the import markets, Azerbaijan also occupies the fourth place with a share of 6.6%.
The main import goods in this period were petroleum gases and gaseous hydrocarbons, which constituted 81.7% of imports.
